Fatal error: Call to undefined method JUserHelper::hashPassword 23 Feb 2018 11:54 #1

:( :( :( :(
Hi! I just downloaded Migrate component and installed it for Joomla 2.5. I tested it for a .csv file containing one header row and one row for one user to be added. But the procedure went wrong and I got the message: Fatal error: Call to undefined method JUserHelper::hashPassword (image with details in attached file)
Can you please help me?
Thnx...

Hi Sofia,

1. Unfortunately I can not replicate this issue, I checked this on localhost for the latest Joomla 2.5 version (2.5.28) and I can not receive the error. Please provide me your site administrator via email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and I will try to replicate this, I will import for test a user and I will find a solution for this.

2. I saw that you paid two times for the same product, we received for two times payment from "SOFIA KONTAXAKI", I refunded one payment, maybe there was a mistake or something else.

Kind Regards,
Mihaela

Fatal error: Call to undefined method JUserHelper::hashPassword 26 Feb 2018 09:51 #3

Good morning Mihaela!

(Thank you very much for refunding the second payment, there was a mistake indeed. )

Well I manage to recreate it.

The problem appears when I change the option "Imported passwords is already encrypted" to NO. :(

Fatal error: Call to undefined method JUserHelper::hashPassword() in /wwwVIP2/mes/dipe/dipemes/public_html/autosch/joomla15/administrator/components/com_irenecoremigrate/models/import.php on line 949 %

When the option is set to YES, no problem :) . When I put there NO, there is a fatal error. So I assume that the function that is encrypting the password does not work in my case.
What could I do? (I'm running my site over joomla 2.5)
Thnx in advance...
Sofia

Hi Sofia,

Please change the admin user account to Super User, so I will debug the issue via Profiles extension, I will check the files in order to fix the problem.
I just checked your Joomla version:
You already have the latest Joomla! version, 2.5.8.

but on my local test site, I can see this:
You already have the latest Joomla! version, 2.5.28.

Is there a possibility to update your Joomla 2.5 to a new version and then test again.

Kind Regards,
Mihaela
